I am about a month into this 3 month project.

Merry Holiday's Y'all

Christmas is coming and Her Store has 15% off through the end of the year.  I have uniquely painted dressers and I have some vintage ornaments left. I also have tons of pillow and some Holiday nick-nacks.  I have also moved to a bigger space to accommodate my bigger items.

On the costume front, we are working on Seussical for a local Middle School and Rumplestiltskin for the community theatre.!!

Pre-Holidays Update

I am working on costumes for The Spoon River Project, and finished Children of Eden a couple months ago.  Great fun.  Still learning. 

My partner, and daughter is on her last year of college, and busier than we thought, but we are still working harder to making this a full time business. 

Meanwhile: 

I have had my vintage store for about six months now, and I am just getting the hang of it.  In my case, small items rarely sell, and some get stolen.  Big items, preferably hand painted go the fastest, even when painting lowers the value of the item.  Go figure.

It's back to school time at Ripped Seams and Upcycled Goods

We've spent the entire summer making costumes for Children of Eden... photos to come, as well as a week working with WAM Camp at McKendree Methodist Church helping children learn to costume themselves and make sets.
